Agree 100%...
The .303 was my very first hunting rifle I bought from an uncle for $40... used it for the next 8-10 years..and still pull it out and use it once in a while..worked great on whitetail back in N Dakota...where the bucks, field dressed still can weigh in excess of 200lbs..
Having shot dozens and dozens of plains game, I can say you would have NO problem with almost any plains game ..Is it perfect? NO. Will it work with proper bullets and distance? Without a doubt!!
