John, When my bushbuck jumped up, the tracker was halfway up the mountain behind us and climbing fast. This was my first time using the CEB Raptor Extended Range bullets, they differ from the ES bullets in that they have a longer ogive and so the walls of the hollow point cavity are extremely thin. I dug four of the six petals out of the shoulder meat on my bushbuck. I shot a jackal the next morning and the bullet had a 2" entry hole, eviscerating the jackal. |
