Re: Kenya torches world's biggest ivory bonfire to save elephant

"Kenya torches world's biggest ivory bonfire to"

draw sympathy and money from the WEST - Hopefully, in excess of the value of the IVORY.

Instead of selling the ivory to the very people who want it and saying THIS is THE LAST of it - there will be NO MORE!

WE NOW WAGE WAR UPON POACHERS FROM THE AIR AND FROM THE GROUND - POACHING WILL NOW CEASE TO EXIST - WE HAVE DESTROYED THE CHINESE TRAINLINE BUILT FOR TRANSPORTING POASHED IVORY AS WELL AS THOSE WHO USED IT TO TRANSPORT IVORY AND HORN.

They would have had the money to do this - even to hire mercenaries who would kill ANYONE poaching ordered - from money received from those very tusks they have now destroyed.

Good idea or not - it would have worked, it also have glutted the marked driving down the value and made it a non profitable venture= especially with an actual attempt to stop it, instead of hoping the bleeding hearts would give them money, over and over and over. The Governments seem just as corrupt as the poachers.
