Doug Van Howd...His dad was a very close friend and hunting companion of mine. Doug did the famous "Resting Place" and the Bronz of Ahmed for the nation of Kenya. He was flown over to Kenya when Ahmed died, so he could sketch the elephant and get every scar and wart in the right places.
