Reminder to myself! A year ago. My printer/scanner is kaput. bought a new one a week ago and broke it or found it broken before finished unpacking. Back under warranty. Plastic rubbish they make these days.

I hope my old scanner still works with Windows 8. Forced obsolecense means many old printers and devices are purposefully not supported in Windows 8 or later s/w. Found two printers no longer work under Win 8 so will need to resurect an old PC to host them.

My old scanner worked very well for transparencies.
