Re: Black rhino shooting, 2015, Corey Knowlton Namibia

Was speaking to an Africa outfitter on the phone last night and at least two other black rhinos taken recently as trophy hunts. But kept quiet for good reason and the extreme public reactions.

As most here know, sustainable managed conservation is the only way African wildlife is going to stay above the endangered levels.

One can't more agree. Good news that more than one black rhino is on offer, proof that they are in sufficient number. Money raked help its conservation and I think conservation of other games too.

Confirm me that black rhino is surviving in only 3 country, RSA, Namibia and maybe Zimbabwe?

IMHO South Africans know how to turn their game to a sustainable source of income. I wish this can last for a long time, as long as the witty men aren't kicked off the country.
