I agree wholeheartedly about the prices.

Other than Safari-Hunt's very good price for buffalo - which I would love to take-up - I don't see the point of hunting cape buff in SAf - way too expensive - and when you can get a buff hunt starting around $6,500 in Zimbabwe or Tanzania, why bother?

As for Lion. I would want to have a look at the property first. Seen a few "Lion hunting exclosures" from the road and could almost see the near fence and the far fence from the same point. I think Lion is an animal which MUST be hunted free range as its natural territroy is so large. That's besides the point as I doubt I'd ever be able to afford Lion in SAf.

But enjoy the plains game hunting there while it also remains in relative terms affordable.
