A question for experienced cape buffalo hunters here on NE. What do you think of the following? Plus have you ever heard of it before? An outfitter/PH recommended to his client, that they needed to hunt the cape buffalo bull at night. Using a hand held light or spotlight. Also relevant is they needed to take the buffalo, that night, even though there was five days of hunting time still available. *** Somewhat different. But I have heard of the use of a spotlight to hunt leopard over bait, in places where it is legal. Also the use of a hand held torch to kill crop raiding elephant on PAC elephant hunts. Surely those might get exciting. Not sure about lion hunting at night. First time I have heard of "hunting" cape buffalo as a "trophy" at night. |
