S.African hunting getting expensive

Hunting in S.Africa is getting more expensive each year. For instance in 2000 a cape buffalo was available for US$9000 0r so,but this year it is quoted at US$19000,simalarly a lion was available for$14000 but today the price is $27000.Why this sudden jump of more than 100%.I really like hunting in S.A.but at this rate of inflation i doubt if many people will be able to afford it.As far as plainsgame is concerned costs are more or less static but big game is way too high.
Other states in Africa such as Tanzania,Zimbabwe etc. have not increased rates that much and are still affordable.Has anyone researched this,as i would like to be informed.
