On my first African hunt I took a pre-64 Model 70 Winchester in .300 H&H, my Krieghoff Teck DR in .458 WM with two additional barrel sets in .375 H&H and 20 gauge 3" Magnum, plus my wildcat .505 based on a shortened .460 Weatherby case. I still have all those rifles, and would be happy to use them again, but I am now putting together a set which will include DR barrel pairs in .500 NE and 450/400 3" NE, plus a set of combination barrels in 12 gauge/.244 H&H Magnum. I may add a pair of 12 gauge barrels to round out the set, again based on a Krieghoff Teck action. Perhaps an insert barrel in another caliber for the combination gun shotgun barrel.
