Though never in that position, and I never expect to be, the weapon choice was clearly
in my mind from the start. First and foremost, it would have to be something I was
very comfortable with, fast handling and with a natural point of aim.

I was thinking 12 bore Paradox gun with 70mm chambers and buckshot cartridges,
either size 00 (9 pellets of .33 caliber) or 000 (8 pellets of .36 caliber).
I believe those equate to UK sizes SG and LG. I would also have some Paradox
cartridges on my belt for use if the terrain opened up.

I have never hunted Africa so, as it says in the title of the thread, Hypothetical Scenario.
