I am probably in the minority but I think there is no prettier animal in all Africa than a sleek well fed Lioness. In contrast MOST males I've seen are really scruffy. I saw 2 lioness's in Hwange a couple of years ago that were magnificent. I have tried for 5 years for a lioness but now with the moratorium in Zim I will probably never take one. So be it.
