amazing the stupidity of people!

twenty years ago, I participated on a week long canoe trip on the Zambezi, Chirundu to Kanyemba.
there was a SA couple from Cape Town along. during a lunch stop in Hrungwe safari area, they wandered off into the bush and stumbled upon a lion kill and of course, the pride. luckily the hunting operator was in the immediate vicinity and carted them back to the beach.
the woman, at every stop, would ask the guide if it was ok to swim, with the obvious answer. we stopped in Mana Pools to camp for the night and while unloading the canoes, turned our heads and there she was up to her armpits in the F'n river splashing water over her head.
the guide radioed the office to send transport and they sent them back to civilization.
