1. My condolences to Stu for his injury and I wish him a full recovery.

2. Tim, you should be serving a 5 year prison sentence for reckless endangerment. You were careless enough to make several simultaneous mistakes: (a) safety off, (b) finger on trigger, (c) muzzle not pointed in a safe direction, and (d) backing up (idiots and cowards always fall down backing away from danger).

3. Barring prison time Tim, you should sell your house, your cars, and your guns and cash out your retirement plan and give the money to Stu because that is the honorable thing to do. But I see you have no honor and instead are asking unlrelated third parties to contribute money to pay for your negligence. That is dishonorable behavior even though it is the same tact that General Boddington followed when his daughter shot someone.
