OK everybody. What is the best and worst meal you've ever had while on Safari? My favorite is a toss-up between Nyala fillet, grilled over an open fire, then cut into bite size pieces and dabbed into a mixture of salt, pepper, and perri-perri sauce. The other favorite was Impala liver, sauteed with onions and butter. My least favorite was Ostrich. I had heard how good it was, but I found it very dry, and strong flavored. Perhaps it was in the freezer too long. |
