Have a look at the elephant in the Zambezi Valley, most have leaking glands.

I was told when visiting Addo that a elephant which had leaking glands was stressed and could be more aggressive. Almost none of the elephant in Addo had leaking glands, the opposite to the Zambezi Basin. The ele cows in the valley are known for being 'cheeky' ie aggressive. Even in Hwange Park there were a lot of incidents which are never reported, tourist cars being swatted etc.

Lots of human interaction in the Zambezi Valley, villagers, wood cutters, poachers, grass cutters, farmers, hunters, culling, subsistence farmers, people are everywhere.

A good topic for discussion I think.
