I don't know about the rest of you but on more than one occaision while shooting on the range I have noticed a bug crawling on the target. And like most shooters I have taken a shot at that bug. You never can tell if you hit the bug or not as it is always just gone. Yesterday I was working with a Martini 1215 that I had lined and chambered to Hornady's new 17 Mach 2 rimfire. A Black Wasp landed on the target and started crawling around. Who's going to dispute that Wasps aren't dangerous game. For may own personal safety and those of my fellow shooters on the range I had to shoot to protect us all. I was able to stop him with one shot. Pennsylvania black wasp 17M2 17 gr Vmax 25 yards M8-4x Leupold BSA M12/15 Martini relined with Redman liner I felt confident taking the shot, the gun shoots pretty good. |
