One of the nicest environments I have ever been to was in the Highlands of Kenya. It is not hot, it is cool, when I was there about 13 to 16 deg C, lovely fresh crisp cool air. Beautiful scenery, lovely lands, though mountainous.
There are a few spots on the planet like that. In the tropics but tempered by altitude. As you said Nitro, beautiful.
Mt Hagen in PNG was like that. I enjoyed my time as a kid up there in the mid 60's. Just not the game animals.
