Quote:
The Department of Natural Resources and Tourism Tanzania has renewed allocation of 180 hunting blocks between 60 hunting companies existing in the period 2013 to 2018.
A new law in the hunting industry in Tanzania was established in 2009, limiting to 15% the number of foreign companies operating in Tanzania in order to favor local companies.
Foreign companies, which were far in number 18, will not be, therefore, that 7, 2013 (according to the official list given by the Government to the media, and published in an article in the Daily News of September 8):
Tanganyika Wildlife Safaris (TAWISA) Tanzania Game Trackers Wingert Windrose Grumeti Reserve Robin Hurt Safari Otterlo Business Corporation Luke Samaras Safari
Can someone explain this?
Does this mean there are now only seven foreign outfitters in Tanz?
With the above also being pretty pricey outfitters.
Whom are all the other 85% or 53 non-foreign outfitters?
