I have shifted your report and story to the African Hunting Forum.

The Hunt Reports forum is a moderated forum. Some members have been complaining that their posts weren't appearing etc. That is until the posts were approved.

That isn't the case here on the African Hunting forum.

I think the Hunt Reports forum will get stripped and all or most of the stories there moved to the relevant hunting or other forums. Instead incorporate the Hunt Reports idea into the usual forums.

Just for your info on why it was shifted.

Again thanks for the story. Memories are great and stir up feelings again. No doubt thoughts of an elephant facing one at eight yards gets the heart pumping. Mine does.
