"The Adventurous Life of a Vagabond Hunter"


He didnīt start his life as a professional hunter. It was rather late in life. Swedish army, cowboy in Paraguay, sailor. 82 Airborne Division, 10th Special Forces as a Green beret. He joined the firm of White Hunters in Kenya. They all said he was tough and had ice water in his veins. When they were working with the film "The last Safari"in Tsavo Park. The cameras were set up protected by seasoned professionals. A mixed herd of elephant containing irritaded cows with their calves were pushed along towards the cameras. As the mass of frightened and angr elephant came screaming closer and closer, all the hunters started checking their safeties and had their rifles half rised - except Sten., who stood their with the heel of his rifle butt firmly on the ground.
In 1977 the hunting in Kenya closed and he moved with his family to Rhodesia. He worked as a scout for the Rhodesian military and did some hunting. After pice he continued to hunt in Zimbabve. He past away some years ago.
