A spotted hyaena, photo taken at Viv Bristow's Game Park zoo near Harare. Africans say witches turn themselves into hyaena at night and can also turn themselves into smoke. This explains why the hyaena I shot at, returning by night on the track on Chipisi from Bubiana wasn't hurt! It was a witch, disguised as a hyaena and she turned herself into smoke so the bullet passed clean through her vitals!
