Hasn't it been said before that it is better a smaller calibre shot well than a big bore shot badly - and of course not practised with !!!

I remember one PH up north, all 3 of us said we could shoot, you could see he "had heard that before" but was surprised when all 3 of us hit the target as aimed. The other two were excellent shots.
