Quote: What country was this if you don't mind my asking? I'm pretty opinionated about the attitudes of PH's and outfitters based on my experiences. You tend to read a lot of stories in publications about clients who couldn't shoot, never even fired the rifle they brought with them, blah blah blah. Surely some of these are true, but if the argument is made that the bad apples don't truly represent the country or the hunting industry, then conversely it should be reinforced that the unprepared hunters don't represent the rest of the world's outdoorsmen. If I had used my scoped .375 on my first trip, I would have taken a much better bull than I eventually did, but that's not the idea is it? At least it's not for me. Just my rambling for the day. |
