I received this email this morning from Belinda Cooke. I am booked to return to Zim to hunt with Richard in June of 2012 though I wish I had the flexibility in my schedule to grab one of these.

Believe me when I say I wouldn't pass this along much less re-book with them if they weren't a top notch outfit.

Hi All,

Re- 3x3 Buffalo hunts

I have just had a hunt cancelled in Matetsi Unit 1 for late November/early December this year. The clients have already paid their deposit, but not the balance of daily rate. Having discussed it with the Operator, the situation is as follows:-
I can substitute different hunters and the deposit will still be good for the hunt. Anyone stepping in to take these hunts will pay the balance of daily rate plus the trophy fee.

Costs -
Daily rate $1250 x 10 days    $12500
Less: deposit paid already    $ 6250
Balance daily rate due        $6250
Trophy fee Buffalo            $3500

Extra costs to expect:
2% govt levy on D/Rate        $ 250
4% govt levy on T/fee         $ 140

Staff tips
Trophy fees of other animals
Hunted.
Dip and pack of trophies      $ 700
TOTAL payable                 $10840

The camp is open from 10 November until the end of the year. If you or anyone you know may be interested, please contact me urgently. If I do not manage to re-sell it, the Operator is making me liable for the balance of daily rates so anyone in the market for a good late season deal, here's your chance!
