I voted the 270 TSX but would prefer the 300 TSX. I've used that bullet extensively on PG and DG. The Swift is a good bullet as well. The Swift and Barnes both perform well in the retained weight category but I prefer the jagged and sharp petals spinning and cutting along the wound channel than the Swift's smooth, almost "ball" type appearance as it mushrooms! Here is a picture of a 350gr. TSX from my 416 Rigby that I used on a Buffalo at close range. I think you can see how nasty that bullet would be spinning with those jagged edges. I've got a 300 TSX from a Sable that I'll try to get a pic posted of as well. |
