I was wondering as sometimes for the "bait" animals the outfitter does not allow a trophy to be taken. Which seems a waste.

It appears to me that the angle was purposefully taken from as low as possible in order to avoid exposing the top of the boss area. It looks closer to the cow Maddog posted with the wide spread. Looks like a cow to me too. If it was on the wall as a shoulder mount, a cow for sure.
Still a magnificent long set of horns. Worth taking it whether a cow or not.
