I read that by the end of the 1970's, Kenya had gone from 100,000 elephants (pre-WWII) to 300 elephants. I wonder what the number is now.

The primary problem is loss of habitat due to the expansion of human population. Why are we vaccinating and feeding people who reproduce at unsupportable levels?
