Interesting using .223's and light loads. Seems to miss the point. I wonder how many shots are taken during the course? If a lot, probably some sore and bruised shoulders would no doubt occur!

Would be an interesting course to do or hear more about.

You are absolutely correct that with that head angle the aim point would be lower, regarding the SAAM course, I guess if you can afford the $4k for the class you could afford a case of Nitro ammo to shoot while there. Looks like fun but out of my league!
