Hi gents,

Well I'm off hunting again.This time it will be in a place called Steenbokpan.It's on the border of South-Africa and Botswana and yes there is the occasional lion and elephant but not for me to hunt.Going for Impala and warthog so I'll see what happens.Will keep you all posted.Hope I have some good news on Monday when I'm back

Sorry guys not so good news.Was a nice trip but didn't shoot anything!
Yes Nitro there was a lot of Steenbuck but not on my list.Saw 2 nice little rams.The second one a sure Rowland Ward trophy but I did'nt even get a chance to take a picture.
I was stalking a big impala ram for about 2 hours when finally a waterbuck bull got spooked and gone was the impala.It is a heavily hunted area and the game is very alert on the slightest noise and smell.It was extremely difficult to hunt there.

Didn't really come home empty handed-you always learn new things.
