Let me see if I understand. The US will give the Nigerian gov't a few parts for their planes in trade for guaranteed oil supply but if they refuse to do business, the Navy and Air Force who just happen to be in the area (no we are not trying to intimidate, we are here to help ourselves..I mean you) will occupy for "humanitarian" reasons and to extinguish "terrorist" activity.
