The story on the website, was something like the wildebeest got stuck in the mud crossing the river.

The hippos approached it looking "concerned" about its welfare.

One hippo tried to free it, but broke the back of the wildebeest doing so.

The other hippos looked concerned about the wildebeest's plight.

Another hippo took hold of the wildebeest, and "euthanised" it, drowning it in deeper water, before letting it go to float away, to "put the hippo out of its misery".
