Mbogo,

I have only been on safari twice. The first was a 7 day buffalo and plains game hunt in Tanzania with Ridge Taylor. The second was a leopard and plains game hunt in Namibia. While I enjoyed Namibia and had a good hunt, Tanzania wins hands down. Namibia is just too tame, too civilized to give one the feel of Africa and safari. While I'm sure there are places in Namibia like the Kalahari,the Caprivi, or Vaughn Fulton's concession that have the wild feel, I didn't enjoy this hunt near as much as Tanzania. To each his own, but I won't hunt a fenced property again.
