When I hunted Namibia in 2005, I was informed by the PH that the shots would be 180-200 mtrs.

Now this is not the type of hunting that I usually like to do, but I thought "when in Rome".

I loaded the .375 accordingly with 270gr Woodleighs PP doing 2800 f/s. Lighter and a lot faster then I would normally use.

Turned out the shots were quite a bit shorter. The longest being about 70 mtrs. This off course meant that the loads I had were not altogether ideal. What I should have done and what I always load the .375 with is 300gr Woodleighs RN at about 2450 f/s.
