I shot my daggaboy at about 20 or 30 steps with a 500 grain A-Frame from the .458 lott. It rocked him pretty good. I worked in two more solids going away and heard the death bellow in a couple of minutes. I practiced alot working the bolt and backing my own shot. I am very glad I did. I would not have been disappointed if the situation had required my PH to shoot. I am sure if you get on the bolt and back your own shot that it will hardly be likey anyone else will have to shoot. Use enough gun! Always pay the insurance...the "dead ones" get up and kill you.
