I didnt catch it on TV but someone told me about a recent story on 60 Minutes about hunting lions in Africa. He said that he was expecting all the usual bad press but was suprised about what they said about stopping poachers and earning much needed money for the country. Only the other day our local paper had a short story on a local gunshop and what he thinks of the latest laws. The story wasnt a big gun bashing theme but on our side. Then I see SSAA is running adds on TV for shooting sports. I wonder if public sentiment might be turning due to more responsible use of guns in Australia. I hope the shooting industry gets better public opinion from know on.
