There is a process where the original balck owners on proving that they originally owned the land can "claim" it back.. I am not sure of all the details of how this is done nor what compensation is payable. This property appears to be one of the first properties awarded to the original black owners under that process. I read the news item too as the property being setup to cater for South African hunters, probably for biltong hunters. But it is good to see the property is going to continue to be hunted and hopefully managed so game numbers are stable. |
