Maybe that is why I saw an ad for mouflon hunting in...of all places the Limpopo province!! If alien species are so bad, they should eradicate all the introduced lechwe, scimitar-horned oryx, addax, fallow deer and other species that don't even exist in their true habitat! Now from what I understand there are few tahr left in their original range, yet they are being culled elsewhere! I wonder how different the public reaction would have been if they had been tigers or panda, or some other tree hugger 'cause celebre'? I am sure people would be screaming for a trade embargo or something!
