I just received two books purchased from Lonely Planet.
Southern Africa Road Atlas (1st. Ed.)$14.99 and Swahilli Phrase Book (2nd. Ed.) for $5.95.
The Atlas is slightly bigger in size than a Readers Digest and the phrase book is an easy shirt pocket fit.
Both are very nice and FULL of info. The Atlas is printed on heavy paper so it should last a long time with hard use.
Add these to your Shot Placement book, your favorite book on how to ID critters and you are in business!
