I would say yes. Though some might want to include the 7x57 Mauser, but I think the .303 and 30-06 probably lead the pack. And of those two I have no doubt that the .303 is Number One. If for no other reason than the fact that the British Empire was so extensive and their rifles and other firearms seemed to end up everywhere.
