Quite a good article but I wonder sometimes how well some people read books. The author states that "in John Taylor's book the incomparable, African Rifles and Cartridges, the 303 doesn't even warrant a mention!"

The article author must have skipped page 172. The 303 was Taylor's first rifle when he set out on his elephant hunting career.
