Great looking bushbuck...and a great story to boot..

I have attached a photo of the infamous "265 yard" buck taken with my .416 Rem. using 400gr A-Frames..while in Zim in 2008..

You can see where the bullet come out on the side showing in the photo as he was quartering towards us in the river bed below..

This one was shot in Zim in 2004--Again I was using my .416 Rem. --but much closer shot--as this was around 130 yds...was taken just as it was getting dark and we were driving back to camp..

Took this one as he was running into the brush along the riverbed---and yes, again, with my .416 Rem. rifle...it was the last day of a 21 day safari in Zim. Never hunted specifically for bushbuck, all these were taken while out hunting other game..agree, they are an awesome looking animal and fun to hunt...
