I like the idea of the memory foam system, but they do look fairly heavily constructed. Are they going to be too warm for Africa? Most places list 12 (47) as the biggest size available but this place - http://www.field-trek.co.uk/ft1/product.asp?currency=GBP&pf_id=12960 - lists them in 13 (I need a 48) and 14 albeit at Ł140. Looks like this is the company you bought yours from.

Can't see any mention of this steaming process you refer to. How does that work?
