With a scope the accuracy is, in all cases, better and when something go wrong you can shoot at longer range ! No experiment, the first choice for hunting big game is, despite the caliber or the eyes of the shooter, a scoped rifle ! Unscoped rifles and DR's are in my opinion not the best choice today !
