One has to wonder what they'll do about their already overpopulated elephant numbers.

Many/most parts of Botswana are already suffering very significant elephant damage and with a decline on hunting, it's gonna get a lot worse very quickly...... and once that damage is done, the bush won't ever recover and the eco syatem will quickly change from semi desert to desert.
