NO You only have to ask yourself why the lions are in a high fenced (presumably game) ranch. The area is too small for lions to play a useful purpose in wildlife management, i.e. controlling herbivore numbers. They are there for cash only. Wouldn't surprise me if they were fed too, after all, would you want them harassing your valuable kudu, zebra, gemsbok, sable, etc??? Keep em fat and sleepy and they won't hunt as much. Of course I could be wrong. If they're wild and have found their way into a ranch where they are not wanted, slightly different story perhaps? |
