Someone once wrote something like this: "You have only half-lived your life if you never feel the icy clutch of danger for it's own sake". So go for it man, if it goes pear shaped, just do the best you can, and if it goes well, you will have had a brilliant hunt and a fantastic adventure, one that many could only dream about.
