As explained by others on this forum, the Sporting Shooters' Association of Australia provides quite comprehensive cover for hunters going overseas. I've used them to insure my upcoming trip to SA and Moz, and found them very helpful. Actuarily, the writing is on the wall, though. To insure myself against all sorts of stuff including kidnapping and probably ebola, with medivac and most property contingencies thrown in, it cost $160. For my best rifle: $400.
