I really wasent going to say anymore about this incident, however the longer it goes on the more it stinks.

In the PH's original statement the cat pulled the victim UPWARDS into the girls line of fire by his belt.

Now in her statement when she fired the cat JUMPED OFF. Surely for the cat to JUMP OFF, then the victim was in a supine or prone position. It may be said to have dropped him, retreated, fled etc, but it could not "jump off"

And the other thing that keeps getting to me is this....The girl is out hunting Leopard as a client with a PH. The PH was the first to open fire at the cat.....WHY ? That alone, unless one is in the habit of having the PH shoot your trophies for you, should tell you that the shit has hit the fan.

And before anybody assumes differently, I have been in that situation with a pissed off cat that we cannot see. And neither Jaco or I have any bullet holes in us.

It would seem better for all the participants to stop making public statements. Indeed I cannot imagine why they did so in the first place. Now there are pictures and video, can't wait to see them.

I absolutely agree with you.

If she and dad want to make it right, then sell the house , car, gun collection, whatever is required. When they are totally penny less then they can throw themselves on the mercy of strangers.

It is a damn good job they didn't run over his dogs in their haste, then there would be a whip round for the RSPCA.
