At no point did I call anyone a liar. I was examining BBs statement, which I take as her recollection of the situation as she saw it. At no point in her statement did she suggest that she shot because she knew that any member of the hunting party had been attacked. She effectively states that she was suddenly alerted to the leopard's immediate presence by her PHs shot. She steps out and fires at a leopard in long grass and admits she could see only the backline of the leopard. Regardless of whether the PH said she did the right thing or not, she DID fuck up. In my book, shooting a member of the hunting party = fuck up. That is true, regardless of intent. She was, however, unlucky. We all recognise that, which is why all the comments have so far been (too?) sensitive.
